work the greater Houston area which
can be broken down into several
distinct areas. We live here and we
know the city with the real
information…driving times,
neighborhoods, amenities, school
districts, universities, shopping

To
familiarize you, the center of the
city (the downtown area) is located
in what is referred to as the Inner
Loop area. The Loop which is 610
encumbrances the downtown area, the
museum area, the medical center,
Greenway Plaza, the Houston Zoo,
part of the Heights, as well as
various facilities for professionals
sports as well as several
universities….Rice, University of
Houston, UT and Baylor Medical
universities and TSU to name a few.
Your apartment choices are vast
ranging from lofts, high rises and
condo’s to old and new apartment
communities loaded with dynamic
amenities.
Just
outside the area (loop) on the South
side is the Hobby Airport, Clear
Lake, Nasa, Friendswood, Alvin and
Silvercreek communities. Further
south from here is a short 45 minute
to the Galveston Beach. If it’s
the coast you want, or any water
affiliated interest you have, this
is where you may need to be!
On
the West side of the city you find
the popular Galleria area, gorgeous
tree filled Memorial stretch from
downtown to the most western sector
of the city as well as the Energy
Corridor, and such school districts
as Spring Branch ISD and Katy ISD.
North
of Houston, is where you find
Greenspoint, 1960, The Woodlands,
Lake Conroe, and the
Intercontinental Airport. There are
several school districts up in this
area…such as Spring ISD, Klein ISD,
Montgomery ISD, Aldine, and several
more.
Where
as in the Southwest area, you may
find the Alief, Stafford, Fort Bend
and Lamar school districts. Another
university sits down in this area
and it is called Houston Baptist
Univ. Hwy 59 is the main artery
into the city from these areas.
It
travels across the city and up into
the Northeast area extending out to
Atascocita, Kingwood, Lake Houston
and Humble. But don’t worry you are
never too far out in any area so
that it is hard to get ot shopping
or grocery and pharmaceutical
companies.
Houston covers over more than 600
sq. miles. And it is home to more
than 2500 apartment communities.
